A lot has happened over this last year, but when September starts it feels like we can get a fresh start. We can start on new music. Maybe we have chosen to add another instrument into our repertoire. Maybe we are setting new goals. No matter what you are doing this new year with music, leave behind what was frustrating you last semester. If you go in with a fresh outlook and a fresh start attitude, you just might find that you are wildly more improved on what seemed impossible before. If you are adding activities to your schedule, remember that you are going to need to set aside time for your instrument or you will not make any improvements. It does not take long amounts of time to do so but I guarantee that you will have more frustrations if you leave the instrument be for days at a time. Best of all, lets get out there and have fun and find our inspiration this new school year!
